I finally figured it out, and I am here to say love is as easy as they said it would be.  Half dead, parched beyond recognition…the OKC curtain has been lowered, the lights turned out.  Goddamn that was a wild ride.

It’s funny how you dismiss guys on dating sites…just not attracted.  Especially when they are listed as “married”.  Poly isn’t my bag.  So he reaches out again…after a six month hiatus from OKC.  He proclaims he wants to meet and give me the low down on going from married to available.  HO HUM…ok but you come to my town for coffee.  He was cute with my glasses off.  Nice health nut of sorts…take a number….If i get diagnosed with cancer (as everyone seems to be nowadays) I will reach out for his eastern medicine advice.

We will call him AP as he was an AP photographer for a decade in Johannesburg.  I know I am not keen on men with small children but my contacts lately have all been older fathers to the under ten.  YUK.  YUK.  AP sent beautiful emails, offerings of vinyl hunting outings but when his 5 year old son called while dining at a quaint French bistro, he dismissed himself for FIVE minutes…pacing back and forth outside.  I continued to drink my wine alone.  I am too old to share.  Next.
